The following links are meant to help make the live classroom experience even better—or to serve as a first stop for resources in feeling comfortable navigating the Zoom platform as a beginner. Learners and teachers alike will find a wealth of information here! Participants do not need to create a Zoom account to join a Niagara School for Missional Leadership course, but you may find that you’d like to sign up for free anyway!

  • Zoom Support: This is the main hub for any question you might have about Zoom.
  • Getting Started with Zoom: We recommend that everyone who participates installs the Zoom client to your device—whether you’re using Windows, macOS, an iPad, or an Android tablet—because it allows you to get the most out of your Zoom experience. This site has a helpful “Use and Learn” section that details instructions for your particular device and answers frequently asked questions.
  • Zoom Learning Centre: Interested in taking yourself through a short, yet very helpful course for how to use Zoom’s features? You can enrol for free in one of many courses and learning plans here. You will need a Zoom account to participate in these, but it is free and easy to create one.
  • “Show Me” Video Tutorials: Zoom has produced many videos that actually show you how to use certain features in Zoom! These include introductions to security questions, basic in-meeting navigation, and much more!
  • How To Host Meetings: For our teachers, you may additionally find this hub of information helpful, as it will guide you through particular tasks as the meeting host. NSML teachers will sign in using an account username and password shared with you by our coordinator.

Resources for Using Moodle

The following links will serve as the first step for utilizing our online learning platform, Moodle. The sections below are roughly divided between helps for our learner-practitioners who will be using Moodle to read and submit assignments, find resources shared by your teacher-practioners, participate in discussion forums, and more. The section for teacher-practitioners is geared toward helping you create a rich, welcoming online environment for your courses.

For Participants:
  • Logging into the Niagara School for Missional Leadership Moodle page: By clicking this link, you’ll be taken to the NSML Moodle login page. You will have been given a username and password already by the coordinator, and if you have never signed in before you will receive an automatic email with a link asking you to login and change that password. If you run into difficulty logging in, the coordinator can reset your password; simply send an email to with your request.
